Rabun County Republicans now meeting Twice a Month

The Rabun County Republican Party is now meeting twice a month. The regular Saturday mornings are now the second Saturday of the month at the Dillard House Conference Center at 9am. The next one will be on Saturday, June 12.  In order to reach more Rabun County conservatives, the local party will also begin having a rotating gathering on the Monday that falls nine days after the regular monthly meeting.  The June 21, event will be a cookout at the City Pavilion behind Clayton City Hall and the Library at 5:30pm that will feature Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Gary Black who just announced his candidacy for the United States Senate in 2022.  With the campaign season already underway the Rabun Republicans are going to invite every statewide candidate in any Republican Primary to come to Rabun County over the next year to make their case with local voters.  Those desiring breakfast are invited to come early and enjoy the Dillard House breakfast.  Annual dues can also be paid during the meeting.
