Rabun County Rec hosts Youth Football Games this Saturday

Come cheer on youth football teams from the Rabun County Recreation Department at Rabun County High School this Saturday, tells Athletic Director Adam Dixon.  “This Saturday, Sept. 21, is our home opening football game for the Rabun County Recreation Department. We play in the North Georgia Youth Football Association, which is one of the bigger associations in Georgia. It basically encompasses everything north of Gwinnett and east of the west mountain counties, so we are pretty proud to be a part of that.  We’ve got five games on Saturday and Rabun County High School Athletic Director and Varsity Football Head Coach Jaybo Shaw has been gracious enough to let us use their stadium on Saturday, so these guys to get to play in what I think is the nicest stadium in the league. 9am is when our 7U start and then every hour and a half we start another game. So, 8U, 9U, 10U, and then the 11U game starts at 3pm.  So, we have a full day of football.”
