The Rabun County Fair held this past Thursday through Saturday was supported with a great turnout by the community says Wayne Swanson of the Fair Association…

Mr. Swanson felt the fair was a great success and the association plans to make it an annual event…
“I think for the first year it was a huge success, we learned a lot and look forward to making a better and bigger fair for 2014.”

year old David Smith won 1st place in the 13 and under division and Charles Webb and Ryan Long
tied for 1st in the adults competition, a raffle for 1 ton of corn donated by The Feed Store and a rodeo that capped off the event Saturday night.
