Rabun County Elections Office accepting Absentee Ballot Applications

The Rabun County Elections Office is now accepting absentee ballot applications for the May 21st General Primary, says Absentee Ballot Clerk Lynn Ramey. “Absentee ballot applications for the May 21st General Primary are being accepted now. You may come by the Elections Office to pick up an application or call the office at 706-782-1878 to request one be mailed to you. The deadline for applications to be returned is May 10th. Ballots will begin to be mailed out on April 22nd.” Ramey asks voters to drop off absentee ballots at the Rabun County Elections Office. “The Elections Office would like to encourage absentee by mail ballots to be dropped off at the office. If you are mailing your ballot back please allow ample return time. All absentee by mail ballots must be returned to the office by 7pm on May 21st, which is election day.” The Rabun County Elections Office is located at 184 South Main Street, Suite 102, in Clayton.
