Rabun Co. Voters encouraged to cast Ballots in Dec. 6th Runoff

Rabun County voters are encouraged to cast ballots in the December 6th Runoff Election in the race for United States Senate between Incumbent Democrat Raphael Warnock and Republican Herschel Walker.  Rabun County Elections Director Tammy Whitmire says it should be quick and easy to vote.  “So, Early Voting for the December 6th Runoff will start on November 28, 2022, and runs through December 2, 2022.  We will be open from 9am to 5pm, each day.  We feel like this is going to be a real smooth election so we should have no lines because we only have one thing on the ballot.  So, please come on out and vote.  I don’t think we will have any lines, so you should be in and out in a hurry.  Also, if you can’t get here, November 28th is the last day you can request an absentee ballot.  So, put that on your calendars, November 28th is the last day to ask for an absentee ballot to be mailed to you.”  The runoff election is on December 6, 2022, and polls will be open from 7am to 7pm.  All voting in Rabun County takes place at the Board of Elections Office at 184 South Main Street, Suite 102 in Clayton, in the lower level of the Rabun County Health Department.
