Rabun Co. Schools feeding 18 and Under in the Community

The Nutrition Department of Rabun County Schools will once again be serving meals on Monday and Thursday, says Superintendent Dr. April Childers.  “Starting Monday, we will be serving meals and when children come through the line, you have to bring your child with you, but they will receive three breakfasts and three lunches and then if they come again on Thursday, they will receive four breakfasts and four lunches.  This program is part of the Summer Program. It is at no cost to any child, ages 2-18. So, we welcome all, they don’t even have to be one of our students, all kids that are in Rabun County right now are welcome and it helps our nutrition program as we help our families at the same time.”  These meals will be distributed on Mondays and Thursdays for the remainder of the school year.
