Rabun Co. Schools cut Ribbon on AgriScience Center

Rabun County Schools cut the ribbon on a new AgriScience Center on Old 441 on Thursday, October 6, 2022.  Students gave tours to those in attendance.  A SPLOST referendum that was passed in 2020 with a 71% rate paid for the new center.  This new AgriScience Center will provide students with first-hand experiences in multi-agricultural fields.  Students will be raising cattle and hogs and learning how to show these animals.  Students will also learn about farm-to-table, everything that occurs to keep us all healthy and well-fed as a community.  There will also be greenhouses to cover the plant science portion of the agriculture-science field.
