Rabun Co. looking for Poll Workers

Rabun County is looking for poll workers to assist with the upcoming primary election on May 24.  You must be a resident of Rabun County to work as a poll worker in Rabun County, says Elections and Voter Registration Director Tammy Whitmire.  “The office is always looking for people who are interested in becoming a poll worker.  We have an application and an interview process for that, so if you would like more about that we can send you the application in the mail, just call the office and let us know.  Poll workers are required to have training, so the sooner that you let me know that you want to be a poll worker for this election I can get you signed up for poll worker training to be prepared for that May 24th election because early voting will begin pretty soon on May 2, so we want to make sure everybody is trained before the election begins.”  For more information or to fill out a poll worker application form, call 706-782-1878 or visit https://rabuncounty.ga.gov/elections/.
