Rabun Co. Library invites Community to honor Fallen Soldiers

The Rabun County Public Library invites the community to honor fallen soldiers by putting their names on a tree, says Library Manager Dyana Costello Banks.  “So, this is a new ongoing program throughout the month of May that people throughout the community can come to the library and leave a message on one of the stars or put somebody’s name if they passed while they were serving in the U.S. Military.  We wanted to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice and we thought this would be a unique way to not only honor them but then also make this a community event.”  The Rabun County Public Library is located at 73 Jo Dotson Circle in Clayton.  Hours are Monday through Thursday from 9am to 6pm, Friday from 9am to 5pm, and Saturday from 9am to 1pm.
