Program That Works With Children in Juvenile Court Calling for Assistance

The Northeast Georgia Court Appointed Special Advocate program is looking to help children who have been removed from homes because of abuse or neglect.

The program serves as the voice of children in juvenile court throughout Northeast Georgia, which includes Rabun County.

Support for the Court Appointed Special Advocate, or CASA program comes largely through the “Friends of CASA” campaign.

That campaign is kicking off Thursday, September 6th, in Hartwell, and continues through December. For more information about CASA, contact 706-886-1098.
