PPP Early Voting Begins February 8; Deadline to Register is February 1

The 2016 election will be here before you know it, and there are a few dates to add to your calendar before the November 8th election.

Voting day for the Presidential Preference Primary, where voters will select which political party that they will associate with this election, will be held on Tuesday, March 1st, with early voting taking place from Monday, February 8th, until Saturday, February 20th.

If you are planning to take part in this special election, you will need to be registered to vote by Monday, February 1st. You can register to vote either online at registertovote.sos.ga.gov, visiting your local DMV office, or by visiting the Rabun County Board of Electors Office, located at 19 Jo Dotson Circle in Clayton, behind the Rabun County Courthouse.

The Presidential Preference Primary will be held on March 1st in Georgia. Make sure that your voice is heard in 2016.
