Plane Wreck, Two Missing on the Water

A busy weekend for EMS and Search and Rescue teams across the Region, here in Rabun County, two people go missing on the water early Sunday morning, Rabun County rescue workers with the help of Georgia State Patrol were able to locate both safely at Earl’s Ford. In Oconee County, SC, a small experimental plane goes down near West Union. Both the pilot and passenger were found safe and uninjured, the small plane was destroyed. The FAA is looking into the incident.
