Over 4,000 Vote Early in U.S. Senate Runoff in Rabun County

Rabun County voters have taken advantage of Early Voting in the race for United States Senate between Incumbent Democrat Raphael Warnock and Republican Herschel Walker, says Rabun County Election Assistant Shay Harbin.  “We had an amazing turnout for advanced voting.  We had a total of 4,688 people come to vote that week of Early Voting.  It was just great.  It was amazing that so many people came out and voted.”  Election Day for the U.S. Senate Runoff in Georgia is this Tuesday, December 6, 2022, adds Harbin.  “Election is going to be December 6, 2022, from 7am to 7pm and December 6, will also be the last day to get your absentee ballot in by 7pm, so make sure that you get those turned in to us.  We just hope that we have a great turnout again.  We want everybody to come out and get their vote put in so that we can have an amazing turnout.”  All voting in Rabun County takes place at the Board of Elections Office at 184 South Main Street, Suite 102 in Clayton, in the lower level of the Rabun County Health Department.
