One Injured in Wreck on Highway 76

One person was injured in a single-vehicle wreck on Highway 76 near Rhonda Drive. The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office reports that on February 13, 2024 at 4:30am, the driver of a 2018 Nissan Rogue came into a curve too fast, left the roadway, struck the guardrail, and then flipped multiple times. The vehicle was found in a creek approximately 40-yards off the roadway. The driver went to a friend’s house and then to the hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.
