October 11, 2022, is the last day for a person to register and be eligible to vote in the November 8th General Election in Georgia.  To register to vote you must be a citizen of the United States, a legal resident of Georgia and of the county in which you wish to vote, and at least 17 1/2 years of age to register and 18 to vote.  You may not register to vote if you are currently serving a sentence for a felony or have been ruled mentally incompetent by a court.  To register to vote online, you must have a valid driver’s license or an identification card issued by the Georgia Department of Driver Services.  Check to see if you are registered to vote on My Voter Page.  This page will also tell you where you can vote.  If you are registered, you can make changes on that page by submitting a new application.  If you find that you are not registered, you can register there, as well.  For more information, visit https://sos.ga.gov.
