New Smartphone App Highlights North Georgia Waterfalls

A new mobile app has been developed to highlight the state’s waterfalls.

Before you take part in a weekend hike, be sure to download the North Georgia Waterfalls app for Apple and Android devices.

The app’s designers, 365 Degree Total Marketing, said that the app allows users to explore Georgia’s more than 50 waterfalls and their nearby attractions before visiting them in person. The app also allows users to search by waterfall; provides in-depth information including history, mileage, area details, local points of interest including shopping and dining venues, and includes a GPS-enabled map.

Rabun County had a hand in sponsoring the app, as well as local counties such as Dawson, White, Lumpkin, Towns, and Habersham Counties.

The company has published visitor guides, brochures, community maps, and magazines throughout Georgia, the Carolina’s, and Florida for more than 30 years.
