Mountain Lakes Medical Center receives updated health scores

 CLAYTON According to Medicare.gov, the official U.S. government site for Medicare, here are Mountain Lakes Medical Center most recent health scores in a variety of categories.

Since making the move to their new location located at 162 Legacy Point in Clayton, Mountain Lakes Medical Center have made strides to improve their overall patient safety and experience grade.

Scores from Medicare.gov indicated that Mountain Lakes ranked equal to the national average of other hospitals in the country. Some even reflected higher scores such as in doctor to patient communication Mountain Lakes was given an 84 percent while the national average fell at an 80 percent.

Other grades in categories fell slightly below average such as, “patients who reported that the area around their room was ‘always’ quiet at night.” Mountain Lakes was offered a 59 percent while the Georgia average among other hospitals was graded with a 68 percent and the national average a 62 percent.
