Minor Incident with School Bus

A school bus is involved in a very minor accident earlier this morning.

No One Is Injured After Incident

The tires on the passenger side of the bus slid off into the ditch this morning on the northbound side of Old Highway 441 around one mile south of downtown Clayton.

Deputy Parrish with the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office says no one was injured as a result of the bus’ passenger side tires sliding off the road.

The Georgia State Patrol did a report on the incident, and then the bus was  pulled back onto the roadway.

School Superintendent Matt Arthur says that the bus’ passengers were picked up and were still nearly on time for school.

The incident has slowed traffic on Old Highway 441 this morning.
