Man arrested on Meth Charges after Traffic Stop
A Sylva, North Carolina man stands charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug-related objects after a traffic stop on Georgia 15. The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office reports that on June 4, 2020, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2016 Ford Focus for failure to maintain lane near Tie One On in Tiger and after a search of the vehicle 36-year-old Steven Ray Dotson was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession and use of drug-related objects, and failure to maintain lane. He was booked into the Rabun County Detention Center on the three charges.
