Man arrested in Tallulah Falls with $21K Worth of Drugs

A man is behind bars in Habersham County after a traffic stop in Tallulah Falls uncovered $21,000 worth of illegal drugs in his vehicle.  It happened on Sunday, November 22, when the Georgia State Patrol conducted a traffic stop on Georgia 15 South.  The driver, identified as 51-year-old Donald Pickett of Atlanta, was heading to Atlanta from North Carolina.  Pickett stands charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, two counts of possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute a schedule I controlled substance, and driving while under the influence.  Approximately five pounds of marijuana, 500 grams of THC wax, THC oil, and THC gummies were discovered in the vehicle. Pickett was taken to the Habersham County Jail.  The marijuana has a street value of $6,000 and the THC wax has a street value of $15,000.
