Make an Appointment to be tested for COVID-19 in Rabun County

Rabun County residents who want to be tested for COVID-19 need to make an appointment.  District 2 Public Health will operate a Specimen Point of Collection for COVID-19 testing at Clayton Baptist Church on August 4, August 11, and August 18. The site will be open from 8:30am to 1pm each of these days.  Individuals who want to be tested for COVID-19 should call 706-212-0289 to schedule a time to get tested at the Rabun County Health Department, which is located at 184 South Main Street in Clayton.  With an appointment, the average time to get through the testing is three to five minutes. All county health departments will continue to schedule appointments during normal business hours, 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. On Saturday, residents can call between 8:30am and 3pm, and on Sunday, call between 9am and 12pm for appointments.
