Local Sheriff Re-Elected to Board of Directors

A local sheriff has been re-elected to the Georgia Sheriff’s Association Board of Directors.

Towns County Sheriff Chris Clinton was re-elected to serve as region three vice president of the Georgia Sheriff’s Association unanimously. In this position, Clinton will serve as a voting member of the board of directors of the Georgia Sheriff’s Association, and will represent the other 21 sheriffs in region three, which extends from Rabun, Towns, and Union Counties to the north, as far south as Elbert and Oglethorpe County.

Clinton has served with the Georgia Sheriff’s Association since 2012, and is one of nine regional regional vice presidents who serves on the board of directors.
