Legal Action Taken Against the City of Clayton

Legal action has been filed against the city of Clayton in Rabun County Superior Court.

Stavemill Apartments, Incorporated and the Ramey Brothers Partnership have filed a petition for declaratory judgment.

Filed on Friday, this petition arises from a controversy regarding the installation and use of well water at the Stavemill Apartments.

Listed as respondents in the petition are the City of Clayton as a municipality, City Manager Cissy Henry, both individually and in her official capacity; Mayor David Phillips in his official capacity, as well as council members John Bradshaw, Debbie Chisolm, Buff Green, Willie Fortson, and Roy Quilliams, in their official capacities.
