Lady Indians sweep Rabun County Tri-Match

Brian Carter, Director of Sports Communication and Digital Media for Tallulah Falls School (TFS) reports that the Lady Indians took the 8.5-mile trip north to Tiger, and came back with two more tallies in the win column on Tuesday evening. TFS made quick work of both Franklin County and host Rabun County, winning both in straight sets.  Against Franklin, Tallulah Falls School wasted no time in going on lengthy runs to win 25-13 in the opening set. In wearing down the Lady Lions, TFS was even more efficient in the second set, taking it 25-7.  TFS capped off the night with a stellar match against #5-ranked Rabun County, winning both sets 25-14 to sweep the tri-match. In the first set, Rabun held tough early on before TFS went on an 8-2 run to force a timeout up 12-5.  The girls have now won a season-high five straight going back to last Tuesday with a win over Lakeview. Since then, it was a sensational last Thursday at home in which the Lady Indians beat state-ranked White County and state-ranked Rabun. All five match wins in a row have come in straight sets, and three have been against state-ranked opponents.  This marks the second win for TFS over Rabun County this season. The girls are now 7-10 overall and return to the court on Thursday at Loganville Christian, where they’ll take on the host school and Athens Academy.
