Lady Indians open Season with Pair of Wins

Brian Carter, Director of Sports Communication and Digital Media at Tallulah Falls School (TFS) reports in the season-opening action at North Forsyth, the Tallulah Falls Lady Indians volleyball team won two and lost one match on Tuesday evening.  After falling in straight sets to the host school, 17-25 and 15-25, TFS battled back to take straight set wins over Lanier (25-11, 26-24) and Lumpkin County (25-13, 25-13). The wins were pivotal, as Lanier was a region runner-up in Class 6A last season and advanced to the Sweet 16. Lumpkin County was the 7-AAA region champion and also reached the Sweet 16 in 2020.  Tallulah Falls is 2-1 on the season following the first matches. The girls return to action on Thursday at Banks County, taking on the host school as well as Commerce.
