Lady Cats Close Out Season

Another great season for the Lady Cats came to a close Monday night in a brutal fashion as Kendrick rolled over Rabun County with a 90 to 34 victory. The Girls played hard but were just no match for the Kendrick defense. Coach Dillard had this to say when the game ended…

“I think it was a great learning experience for our young kids, you know we have the majority of our kids coming back next year. I think it’s really important for them to see, number one, that’s what a great defensive team looks like, and that’s something we can work on defensively, just you know that stifling pressure, which I thought was a great opportunity for our guards to improve their game as well, and it exposed some weaknesses for us. So certainly it’s stuff we can look at during the off season to work on and build on as we head into next season.”

This was Senior Sally Woerner’s last game as a Lady Cat. She Closes her season out with over 250 rebounds.
