Jalen Carter pleads Guilty to Reckless Driving

Jalen Carter pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and racing on Thursday, March 16, 2023, in Athens-Clarke County Municipal Court.  The star defensive tackle for the Georgia Bulldogs was allegedly involved in the fatal crash that killed recruiting staffer Chandler LeCroy and offensive lineman Devin Willock on January 15, hours after Georgia celebrated its second consecutive national football championship.  Carter was sentenced to 12 months probation, a $1,000 fine, and must complete 50 hours of community service.
