Jackson Man arrested on Meth Charges

On June 6, a deputy of the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 for failure to maintain its lane.  During the traffic stop, K9 Doug was deployed and a search of the vehicle was conducted, which revealed methamphetamine and drug-related objects.  The driver, 46-year-old Michael Lamar Hall of Jackson, Georgia was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession and use of drug-related objects.  He was transported to the Rabun County Detention Center for booking.
