Georgia got good news Saturday evening as Kentucky’s loss to Ole Miss clinched the SEC East for the Bulldogs. Head coach Kirby Smart’s bank account got good news.

The division title means Smart will receive a $150,000 minimum bonus this year. That number could skyrocket.

 

• If Georgia wins the SEC Championship, the $150,000 bonus will be replaced with a $400,000 bonus.

• If Georgia plays in one of the non-playoff CFP committee bowls, Smart will receive a $200,000 bonus

• If Georgia plays in the College Football Playoff, Smart will receive a $500,000 bonus

• If Georgia plays in the National Championship, the $500,000 CFB Playoff bonus will be replaced with a $600,000 bonus

• If Georgia wins the National Championship, the $600,000 bonus will be replaced with a $1 million bonus

• If Georgia finishes in the Top 5 in either the AP or Coaches’ Polls, Smart will receive a $200,000 bonus

• If Smart is named SEC coach of the year, Smart will receive a $50,000 bonus

• If Smart is named national coach of the year, Smart will receive a $100,000 bonus
