Hawks Forward Arrested in Northeast Georgia

 

 

Atlanta Hawks Forward, Mike Scott, was arrested on drug charges yesterday in Banks County as a result of a high speed chase in which his brother was driving the vehicle. According to a press release from the Banks County Sheriff’s Office, Scott’s brother Antonn Scott, attempted to elude officers at speeds of 98 miles an hour for approximately two miles before stopping near mile marker 156 on I-85. During the traffic stop, the brothers admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle. Deputies located over an once of marijuana, and also 10.9 grams of MDMA, or “Molly” inside the vehicle, as a result, both were charged with felony possession of marijuana and a schedule I narcotic. Antonn Scott was also charged with multiple traffic violations. Bond was set at $8,100 for Mike Scott, and at $9,300 for Antonn Scott. Both men have now been released.
