GSP Explains Four Car Crash

The Georgia State Patrol has determined how the four car collision over the weekend occurred.

According to a report on file with the GSP, a 2011 Nissan Altima driven by seventy four year old Werner Lonski of Clayton attempted to cross over both the Southbound and Northbound lanes of Highway 441 turning out of Ramey Boulevard.

When he did, Lonski struck the left side of a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and then a 1999 Nissan struck Lonski’s Altima, sending it rotating back into the left lane, where Lonski’s car was then struck by a 2000 Pontiac.

The occupants of the Jeep Grand Cherokee were transported by EMS to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with upper extremity injuries.

Traffic on Highway 441 was backed up for some time Saturday afternoon due to this crash.
