“Grow. Cook. Eat” Event in the Works

Even though the weather is not as warm as many would like for it to be, the Rabun County Tourism Development Authority has announced a project that will give residents something to look forward to.

According to Executive Director of the Rabun County Tourism Development Authority, Teka Earnhardt, an farm to table tour titled, “Grow. Cook. Eat” is in the works.

Earnhardt says that the idea of “Grow. Cook. Eat.” has changed, is because that Rabun County is the “Farm to Table” capital of Georgia, and they are looking to capitalize on that idea. This will be a tour that will combine the farms and the chefs.

Earnhardt also gives an estimated timetable, saying that the target is May, just to make sure that everything is “done the right way.”
