Gov. Kemp says COVID-19 bringing out the Best in Georgia

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp is trying to stay positive amid the COVID-19 pandemic and recently said that the respiratory virus is bringing out the best in the state.  “These are incredibly difficult times for our state, but they bring out the best in us, from health and safety officials on the frontlines to communities lending a hand to those in need. We must remain united in this fight, and together, we will emerge victorious.”  Gov. Kemp has discussed Georgia’s plan to reopen shuttered businesses for limited operations with President Trump. He said the state’s next step is driven by data and guided by state public health officials. Just like the thousands of businesses currently operating throughout Georgia, Gov. Kemp is confident that business owners who decide to reopen will adhere to Minimum Basic Operations, which prioritize the health and well-being of employees and customers.
