Gov. Kemp coming to Rabun County

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp is coming to Rabun County on Thursday, August 4, 2022.  He will be speaking at the Rusty Bike on US 441 in downtown Clayton at noon. This is part of his reelection campaign.  The event marks over a dozen visits that Gov. Kemp and his wife Marty have made to Rabun County since his first run for statewide office. Kemp decisively won the Republican Primary on May 24, as he prepares for a rematch with his Democrat opponent on November 8, 2022. Hosted by Rabun County Sheriff Chad Nichols, State Senator Bo Hatchet, and State Representative Victor Anderson, who will be on hand as well as members of the Rabun County Republican Party. The Rabun County Republican Headquarters has Kemp for Governor Yard Signs and other campaign materials for all of the GOP candidates on the ballot at the headquarters located at 41 East Savannah Street in Clayton on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10am until 4pm.
