Georgia Gas Prices rise Six Cents

Pump prices are climbing again in Georgia.  According to the latest figures from AAA, Georgia gas prices are up this week compared to a week ago.  Georgia motorists are now paying an average price of $2.60 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline. Monday’s state average is 6 cents more than a week ago, 7 cents more than this time last month, and 12 cents less than this time last year.  The Auto Club Group says that the majority of motorists can expect more expensive gas prices throughout July although the national average is likely to stay under $3 a gallon.
