Georgia Gas Price Average up 6 Cents

AAA reports Georgia gas prices increased at the pump compared to a week ago. Georgia drivers are now paying an average price of $3.17 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline (subject to change overnight). Monday’s state average is 6 cents more than a week ago, 17 cents less than a month ago, and 19 cents more than this time last year.  It now costs $47.55 to fill a 15-gallon tank of regular gasoline. Drivers are now paying almost $3 less to fill up at the pump compared to a month ago.  The most expensive Georgia metro market is Atlanta at $3.26 and the least expensive Georgia metro market is Columbus at $3.02.  Since last Monday, the national average for a gallon of regular gasoline has increased by 8 cents to $3.79 (subject to change overnight).
