Georgia Gas Price Average up 5 Cents

AAA reports that the Georgia gas price average went up but is still one of the cheapest in the United States. Georgia drivers are now paying an average price of $3.17 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline (subject to change overnight). Monday’s state average is 5 cents more than a week ago, 9 cents less than a month ago, and 8 cents less than this time last year. It now costs $47.55 to fill a 15-gallon tank of regular gasoline. Drivers are now paying almost $1.50 less to fill up at the pump compared to last month.  The most expensive Georgia metro market is Savannah at $3.22 and the least expensive Georgia metro market is Albany at $3.11.  Since last Monday, the national average for a gallon of regular gasoline has decreased by 3 cents to $3.77 (subject to change overnight).
