Georgia Gas Price Average holds Steady

AAA reports that the Georgia gas price average experienced a slight decrease at the pump compared to a week ago. Georgia drivers are now paying an average price of $3.14 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline (subject to change overnight). Monday’s state average is 1 cent less than a week ago, 20 cents less than a month ago, and 63 cents less than this time last year. It now costs $47.10 to fill a 15-gallon tank of regular gasoline.  Drivers are now paying $3 less to fill up at the pump compared to last month.  The most expensive Georgia metro market is Hinesville-Fort Stewart at $3.29 and the least expensive Georgia metro market is Rome at $3.06.  Since last Monday, the national average for a gallon of regular gasoline has increased by 4 cents to $3.40 (subject to change overnight).
