Georgia Gas Price Average dropping ahead of Thanksgiving

AAA reports that the Georgia gas price average is trending lower ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.  Georgia drivers are now paying an average price of $3.11 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline (subject to change overnight).  Monday’s state average is 6 cents less than a week ago, 12 cents less than a month ago, and 13 cents less than this time last year.  It now costs $46.65 to fill a 15-gallon tank of regular gasoline.  Drivers are now paying almost $2 less to fill up at the pump compared to last month.  The most expensive Georgia metro market is Savannah at $3.19 and the least expensive Georgia metro market is Columbus at $3.03.  Since last Monday, the national average for a gallon of regular gasoline has decreased by 10 cents to $3.67 (subject to change overnight).
