Gas Prices Could Go Up

While the price of gas has decreased some over the past month or so, that trend may not continue.

According to AAA, the price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline fell approximately twenty cents in the month of March, down to a statewide average of $3.50, with a slightly lower average here in Rabun County.

Spokewoman for AAA Jessica Brady says, however, there is a strong likelihood that prices will increase throughout the month of April due to positive economic news and signs of increased demand.

Currently in Rabun County, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline is approximately $3.45.
