Fuel Price Hits Lowest Mark of the Summer

Fuel Prices in Georgia continue their downward trend to close out the summer months. Nationally, gas prices have fallen 7 cents from a week ago, and 14 cents from a month ago. Here in Georgia prices are 4 cents lower than a week ago, 20 cents less than a month ago, and 94 cents cheaper than a year ago. Gas prices have fallen 44 of the last 46 days. The current average price for the State is $2.39 the lowest since April 24 of this year. Rabun County begins the week just under the State average, at $2.34 per gallon, down only 2 cents from last week.
