Four Recent Wrecks in Rabun County

Deputies of the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office worked four recent wrecks in the county.  The first crash happened on Feb. 3, at 8:32am on Helen Drive when a 2008 Chevrolet Colorado turned into the Chechero Fire Department thinking it was East Wolf Creek Road, and struck the building.  No one was injured in the single-vehicle collision.  The second wreck occurred on Feb. 4, at 2:10pm on Blair Street when a 1996 Chevrolet C2500 backed a trailer into a 2005 Dodge Stratus that was behind it.  No one was injured in the two-vehicle collision.  The third crash took place on Feb. 4, at 5:13pm on Nacoochee Drive when a 2016 Honda Accord backed out of a parking space and was hit by a 2014 Chevrolet K1500.  No one was injured in the two-vehicle collision.  The fourth wreck happened on Feb. 5, at 9:24am when a 2013 Toyota SW crossed the double yellow line into oncoming traffic and a 2014 Ford LGT had to swerve and drive onto the shoulder of the road hitting a road sign.  No one was injured in the two-vehicle collision.
