Four Recent Wrecks in Rabun County

Deputies of the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office worked four recent wrecks in the county.  The first crash happened on Dec. 25, at 4pm on North Germany Mountain Road when a 2008 Jeep Wrangler slid off the road down an embankment landing on its top.  No one was injured in the single-vehicle collision.  The second wreck occurred on Dec. 26, at 12:23pm on Georgia 15 when a deer collided with a 2017 Toyota RAV4 on the side of the vehicle.  No one was injured in the single-vehicle collision.  The third crash took place on Dec. 26, at 12:45pm on Long Mountain Road when a 2012 Jeep Wrangler tried to stop but due to black ice slid down an embankment and struck a tree.  No one was injured in the single-vehicle collision.  The fourth wreck happened on Dec. 26, at 2:15pm in the Walmart parking lot off Highway 441 when a 2016 Subaru Outback backed into a 2008 Ford Expedition causing minor damage to both vehicles.  No one was injured in the two-vehicle collision.
