Four Recent Wrecks in Rabun County

Deputies of the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office recently worked four wrecks in the county.  The first crash happened at 1:57pm on July 22 on Georgia Highway 15 near Kelly’s Creek Road when a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 struck a 2020 Toyota Corolla while trying to pass it before the lane ran out.  No one was injured in the two-vehicle collision.  The second crash occurred at 11:45am on July 23, on Poole Creek Road when a 2013 Chevrolet Comaro was hit by a deer that ran into the roadway.  No one was injured in the single-vehicle collision.  The third crash took place at 9:22pm on July 25, on Georgia 15 near Kelly’s Creek Road when a 2020 Chevrolet 2500 struck a vehicle wheel that was standing up in his lane of travel.  No one was injured in the single-vehicle collision.  The fourth crash happened at 6:28am on July 26, on Bridge Creek Road at its intersection with Glassy Orchard when a 1999 Dodge Ram left the roadway, struck a road sign and utility pole, and then went down an embankment.  No one was injured in the single-vehicle collision.
