Four Rabun Gap Students to take part in State Awards Show

Two students from Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School – Alyssa Driggers and Cameron Sweet – will perform in the Shuler Student Ensemble during the opening and closing numbers of the 2016 Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards – Shuler Hensley Awards. The Shuler Student Ensemble features talented young men and women nominated by their high school directors. They will be instructed by a professional team that includes a director, choreographer, music director, and Tony Award winner Shuler Hensley.

Additionally, students Emily Olson and Constantina Barile, both members of the S.T.A.R. Council, will assist with the production. S.T.A.R. Council students are nominated by their high school theater director and must display leadership, dedication, and a strong work ethic within their high school theater program.

The Shuler Awards will take place on April 21 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.
