Four Cars Burglarized in Lakemont

The Rabun County Sheriff’s office is investigating four incidents of burglary at one location.

Early Thursday morning of last week, four vehicles parked at 432 Connector Road in Lakemont were burglarized.

Some cash and jewelry was missing out of one vehicle, while some cash and an electronic device was missing out of another.

Two other vehicles had nothing taken from them, but were either damaged from where a break-in was attempted or were in disarray after the contents had been thrown around.

The investigation into this incident is continuing.
