Foothills Landscape Project Meeting on October 13

The Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest will host its first annual stakeholder meeting for Foothills Landscape Project implementation on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Cohutta Springs Conference Center in Crandall, Ga., from 1-4pm.  Forest Service specialists from the Conasauga, Blue Ridge, and Chattooga River Ranger Districts will be available in-person to answer questions on specific proposed implementation plans for the upcoming year, including the draft Implementation Plan for the Mooneyham Implementation Area, and learn what activities stakeholders want to see accomplished in 2024 and beyond.  You can also watch the meeting presentations in real-time on Teams Live from any internet connection (no app or software needed) by clicking HERE from 1-2:30pm on Thursday, October 13.  Please visit the Foothills Landscape Project website for a recording of the meeting, implementation updates, and to learn more about the project!
