Five More Cases of COVID-19 reported in Rabun County

Five more positive cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Rabun County.  According to the latest figures from the Georgia Department of Public Health, there are now 268 positive cases of the coronavirus in Rabun County with 37 cases reported in the last two weeks.  There have also been five deaths due to complications of the respiratory virus.  In neighboring counties, Habersham County reports 1,301 cases and 61 deaths, White County lists 478 cases and ten fatalities, and Towns County has 195 cases and five deaths due to complications of the virus.  Across the state of Georgia, the Department of Public Health is reporting a total of 263,074 positive cases of COVID-19, of those, 24,127 are being hospitalized and 5,393 have died from complications of the virus.
