Firefighters Relieved of Service
In a called meeting Thursday night at the fire department in Clayton a decision was made concerning Station 1 Fire Chief Andrew Green, Assistant Chief Jordan Green, and Buff Green. Fire Chief Marty Dixon made this statement today…
“Rabun County has relieved Andrew, Buff, and Jordan of their duties with Rabun County Fire Services.”
When ask on if the decision was handed down from the County Commissioners Dixon stated…
“The County Commissioners, you know, supported the decision.”
A reason on why the decision was made has not yet been given by the county.
