Felony Burglary under Investigation

The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a felony burglary in the second degree.  On April 16, a deputy met with a Duluth man to take a theft report.  The man stated that he and a friend had parked their car at the Chattooga River Bartram Trail Head parking lot and went trout fishing.  When they returned a few hours later, they discovered that a wedding ring, a wallet, and a gun were missing from the vehicle.  The total value of the missing items is $1,215.
